Tgi Fridays - Ormond Beach

Our experience tonight was really great... better than expected. We really didn't have any expectations, to be honest; we hadn't been to TGI Friday's in a looooonnnnng time, and the times we had been in somewhat recent years other locations it was kind of just ok, but this time was a really a pleasant surprise. Our server was kind, pleasant, checked in exactly the right amount of times... ...not too often, like when you have a mouth full of food and you're not sure how to respond, and not seldomly, that you wonder where they are when you need something... we never had to wonder, he was never far, and always attentive! There were awesome happy hour specials, and super reasonable apps that were quite tasty! We had the chimmichuri garlic meatball skewers Yum! the truffle nacho tots just right! we shared a Chicken Pastor bowl, and it was really yummy. We were so pleasantly surprised... Based on tonight's experience, would recommend! Hope you get Alex! :Thank you!

I don't know why, but this Friday's always has lousy service. I have been to these restaurants all over the country, and Ormond Beach rates among the lowest. I don't know if management is just lazy, or if there isn't a good supply of wait staff in Ormond, but there could certainly be improvement. Food was good (but slow to come to the table).

Walked in to an empty place...1st red flag. Sat down, waitress was pleasant and attentive. Food came out and when I say gross I 'm not exaggerating. I ordered the chicken dish that came out on a skillet and was so hot that it was sizzling and burning me. I had to wait so long for it to cool before I could even attempt to eat it and when it did cool down it tasted awful. Half the food burnt onto the skillet and couldnt be scraped off. I 've never ever sent a meal back but I had to. It was just nasty. My husband 's boneless chicken wings were hard as rocks and he sent his back as well. Only thing tasty was the pot stickers!. This meal would have cost us about 60.00 had we been charged, which we weren 't charged but only for the soda and pot stickers. Will NEVER go here again. I can not stress enough how bad this was. Sorry not sorry.

Came in at 9pm with only a few other ppl in the place. Appetizers came fairly quick but tasted very generic. My food was tasteless. My friend's food (ribs and shrimp) was dry and chewy. The waiter disappeared for long periods and we had to beg for drink refills. I hadn't been to a Friday's in several years and I'm mad I gave it a chance. Never again even if it was free. Stay away.

"I Bartender, Never in my life I have had "The worst service, empty bar....food took forever to come out, Bartender never gave us silver ware, then he says, drinks are on me,....then says he is going to add the drinks on the bill cause he didn 't like the tip My girfreind left,....well if you are attentive and give good service , you will get a good tip.....Service sucked!!!!and the Bartender needs a few classes on how to take care of your guests!!!!!
