When we visited last year, fries came with the burger, but this time we just got a bag of chips. The burger is decent, but for $17.00, it wouldn't hurt to include a few potatoes on the plate.
The most remote brewery on Cape Cod is a fantastic spot with friendly service, great music, and excellent drinks. I highly recommend the summer ale—it's fantastic!
After an 11-mile bike ride, we stopped by hoping for some cold beers and maybe a bite to eat. Unfortunately, the host didn't seem very enthusiastic about catering to bike trail visitors. We ended up purchasing our beers at the counter and had to sit in a distant corner of the outdoor area instead of enjoying table service, which felt a bit off. The beer was quite enjoyable—I had a couple of Pilsners while my wife sampled a flight of IPAs. The menu featured a nice variety of seafood and appetizers, but given the situation, we didn’t end up ordering anything.
The beer was enjoyable, as you'd expect from a brewery. The food was satisfactory, and the prices were fair. However, I feel compelled to write this review because the outdoor grounds and lawn were in disarray. We've visited several times, and it seems like both the interior and exterior of the building are becoming worn and would benefit from a thorough cleaning. A little effort in maintenance and landscaping could really enhance the overall appearance.
If you're hungry, you might want to think twice. The place has a charming atmosphere and features live music, which was fantastic! We arrived at 6 PM to enjoy the band and ordered drinks, but unfortunately, the kitchen had halted all food orders due to being too busy at the time. We tried again at 8 PM, but they still wouldn't take any food orders, even for something as simple as a basket of fries. Based on this experience, we won't be returning.
