The terrific food started with two amuse geule followed by a variation of ray, once with a creamy risotto and tartar with lemon and finely diced red onions. The main course was a dorade with cumquat. Desert was a fig-rasberry tartlette with chevre ice cream. All courses were extremely good, prepared exactly to the point with an interesting mix of flavours. Prices for the menu and the wine are extremely reasonable. Service was excellent, efficient and very helpful. Restroom was spotlessly clean. The other guests were mainly locals enjoying a night out. Reservations are highly recommended and we were lucky to get a table by reserving at 1pm on the same day. The only thing I would suggest is to possibly change the initial foto (orange crumble? in Tripadvisor as the food actually looks much better in reality.
We were very impressed with this restaurant. The quality/price ratio was outstanding. Their commitment to local and seasonal ingredients was apparent throughout the meal. The server was very friendly unlike many French restaurants. Their was a liitle too much foamy stuff for my liking, but having eaten at many restaurants throughout our trip (including a 3 michelin star restaurant), I can say unequivocally that the taste and presentation at this restaurant is right up there with the best.
A very good value price with a menu at 32€ in a small restaurant in a small street. A single waitress that manages very well 5-6 tables at the same time. Each dish has original or particular flavors. a treat. The restaurant deserves culinary rewards. He's in the michelin guide.
We have made many orlean restaurants with my partner and this one is probably our favorite. the intimate setting is ideal for a couple dinner and the kitchen is excellent and very refined. (attention, however, these are small quantities) the service is impeccable.
A very pleasant little (as far as the size of the room... not the quality of the meal) restaurant located rue de Bourgogne. A tip: reserve if you want to taste a fine and inventive cuisine. We loved the mulet in entry, followed by a delicious veal perfectly cooked and presented with salicornes and a foam of cauliflowers. I recommend apricot dessert to make a very pleasant lunch.
