Sushi Kichi - Orlando

Low key place for donburi is located in Strip Mall with friendly staff. The rice bowl was tasteful with fresh fish. Beautiful grilled Squid and Takoyaki on appetizer menu. Currently order first and then take a table. The food came out shortly after. Would definitely come back to try their other offers.

Visit Jacksonville, FL. I wanted authentic Japanese food so my friend suggested this place, and it was great. The checkout was super friendly, and the food didn't take long to get out. The best part was the food. The last time I had authentic Japanese food was in 2018 when I went to Japan. That's probably closest. Officially, one of my favorite places in Orlando is to eat and will come every time I visit. Thanks Sushi Kichi for a great lunch. Posted a picture of the aburi salmon don, which I highly recommend.

I was craving a Japanese lunch and came across Sushi Kichi. The curry rice bowl with pork katsu was fantastic and just what I was hoping for. I also had to try the takoyaki, which was equally delicious. The atmosphere was inviting and well-designed, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! If I weren't just visiting Orlando, I'd definitely return.

My first visit to this restaurant was absolutely amazing! The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, the service was prompt, and the food was outstanding, with a wide variety of fantastic choices. I only wish we could have tried everything on the menu! This is authentic Japanese cuisine brought to you by Japanese people. They are fluent in both English and Japanese. I can't wait to come back someday! Highly recommend!

Overall, the food was quite good, and the seafood was fresh. I would rate this place 4 stars for a fast food restaurant. The Aburi salmon was definitely the highlight; it had a rich, smoky flavor from being lightly seared, and paired wonderfully with the ikura. The croquette was just okay—it was made with sweet potato, which was a bit of a letdown and makes me long for the croquettes in Japan even more.
