This place has the best Hainanese chicken and also Briyani chicken as well. If you want to try these rice dishes in Thai style, you should try this place. It is located inside the sushi place as they operate the business for take out only.
My family traveled to Orlando for a few days, after eating so much fast food, we craved for some rice dishes. As a fan of Hainanese chicken we had to try Mengs Kitchen based on the reviews. We ordered 2 Hainanese chickens, a chicken biryani, a beef curry and a grilled pork, $10 each. They all come with sauces and melon soups. I enjoy the Hainan chicken, it's is very good, tender and juicy, however a good dipping sauce will compliment this dish and bring it to the next level. I didn't love the sauce though, maybe I was expecting a garlicky ginger scallion sauce that I always have from authentic Malaysian restaurants like Penang from Philly or NYC. The beef curry is delicious and the chicken biryani and grilled pork were good but not excellent. The portions are generous given the price and they come with small soup. One thing to notice is This is a GHOST kitchen so you won't see their sign if you're looking for one. The restaurant is Uroll Sushi. : We didn't know and kept driving around to look for the sign and Google map kept taking us back to Uroll Sushi lol. Overall I'd recommend this restaurant if you like Hainan chicken. The owner is nice and friendly and I'd love them to have more customers taste their delicious food.
We took the roasted chicken platter and the homemade thai tea. The food was absolutely fantastic! The platter came with rice, chicken, soup and hot sauce. Each and every component was great, especially the hot sauce. The homemade thai tea was perhaps the best tea I've had in life. Overall, fantastic experience. Will definitely come again.
Ghost kitchen, cause that 's a things now. Never would I have imagine to have it inside U Roll Sushi which I have never been to . They are known for their Hainanese Chicken Rice, which I order every time with a side of chicken liver. You order online and pick up going to U Roll Sushi. Chicken is tender and cooked perfectly and rice and well flavored. Good portion! I am use to the Singapore style Hainanese Chicken Rice, but this is a Thai version ? , sauces were a different from what I am use to but still tasty. It tastes very homey . They have other items on the menu that is are definitely worth trying also! Recommend giving them a try and I will be returning to get my fix as this is the only place in Orlando with Hainanese Chicken Rice.
