Denny's - Orlando

Kayci S was absolutely wonderful! She was always smiling and very kind. I appreciated her even though she didn’t know I was with two young families. The double cheeseburger and onion rings were incredibly delicious. Highly recommend! Order number 714488.

We've eaten here a few times during our vacation, but our most recent experience was disappointing. After being seated and given menus, we waited a long time with no interaction from the servers. I understand it was late and busy, and there's a global staffing issue in the hospitality industry, but the customer service we received was subpar. Our previous visits were not as bad, but this last one was particularly frustrating. When we finally left, there was a queue of people waiting to be seated, and we mentioned to the host that we could no longer wait, but again, there was no response from the staff. I'm sorry to say that I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We initially tried to go to the IHOP across the street, but upon arriving, we noticed that there were no cars in the parking lot and the staff were all outside smoking. Looking across the street, the Denny’s looked more inviting with about nine cars in the lot. We quickly made the switch and headed to Denny’s. Our server, JP, was easily the most delightful server I’ve encountered at a Denny’s. She brought me a cup of coffee and was very apologetic about not having ice for my friend. The restaurant was packed for such a late hour, but JP managed to attend to every table with the same level of energy and care. At one point, she even told a takeout order that she would wait for them after finishing up with a table, which I found quite remarkable. The food was surprisingly good for a late-night diner. My Slamburger came with a perfectly cooked over-medium egg, and the fries were hot and crispy. Even the coffee was delicious! I understand that the quality can vary depending on who is working, but the service and food we experienced that night were excellent. I’d recommend skipping the IHOP across the street in favor of Denny’s.

American dinner for American breakfast! They can choose what they want and build their own combo, pancakes are amazingly fluffy!
