Curry Mantra - Orlando

I would totally recommend this little gem! Started with an appetizer of Lamb Seekh Kabab. Had a great flavor, perfectly cooked garnished with onions, cilantro and red peppers. We could have ate a dinner portion and would have been more than content. For the main course, we had Chicken Tikka Masala and Paneer Makhani (cubes of cheese in a red curry sauce). It came with white rice and we ordered buttered Naan which is absolutely amazing. Since this was her first Indian experience, we put the heat/spicy level of (the range was and a special “Indian Hot” if you wanted your lips and tongue to melt off). The chicken was well cooked and the sauce was on point. For the second dish, I wished the pieces of cheeses were bigger but the flavor was amazing. This place had just opened in the middle of March and is set in a little plaza right across from the Double Tree Sea-world resort. I was skeptical at first just because there were only a few reviews but they did meet my expectations! Other than a couple of screaming kids when we first arrived, the place was nice and quiet. I started off with getting buttermilk. I didn’t know what it was and I had the waitress explain it to me. It was some sort of yogurt mixed with water with a couple of spices in it. It was kinda sour and bitter (but I’m not really sure what it’s suppose to taste like The staff was absolutely wonderful and the owner checked up on us and asked us about our experience.

This place is a jewel! great, personalized eating. the personal had a place. eating was amazing!

My family and I visited the opposite of orlando and came last minute about this restaurant. what a wonderful surprise! this was some of the best Indian food we had the joy of eating in quite a time. the atmosphere was calm and the staff very knowledgeable and helpful. are they warned when they say sharply, they mean it! fantastic overall experience. next time we are in the opposite we will definitely be back.

Best Indian restaurant that I have been to. We ordered the chicken samosas, lamb curry, palak paneer and gulab jamun. Everything was incredible! We live a few hours away, but will definitely plan a trip back just so we can eat here!
