Calypso Grill - Orlando

I was very disappointed with my experience. OpenTable rated this restaurant a 4.7, which felt like a joke. I ordered chicken tacos, but each taco had barely two tablespoons of shredded meat and was served on a cold flour tortilla. One person in our group asked for bread or crackers to accompany their shrimp cocktail, but we were informed that none were available. We noticed something on the menu that mentioned Texas toast, so we requested that instead. The Shrimp Scampi was nothing to write home about. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place!

The restaurant boasts a sports bar vibe while serving dishes that surpass typical bar food. Be sure to try the Ossobuco special on Wednesday nights—it's a must! Whether you're a local or just passing through, this is the perfect place to feel comfortable and at home.

The food and drinks were excellent, and there was plenty to enjoy. The server and bartender provided outstanding service—truly the best! Since there weren’t many customers at this time, the atmosphere was really pleasant and quiet. I will definitely come back again!
