The unflappable staff led us to a table, brought beverages menus within 5 min. of our arrival, and a few minutes later, returned to take our orders. So 15 or 16 unexpected diners were all served and eating (perfectly cooked and beautifully displayed meals ,by noon and back at our church soon after 1 for the monthly meeting.
Was in Orillia and chose to come to East Side Mario’s. Had the chicken Parmesan. Such a great portion. Nancy was our server. She was amazing. So friendly and accommodating. Will definitely ask for her table next time I’m in town
It was quite a surprise to be served Rene’s dressing in a so called Italian restaurant. The servers seem pretty good. The food isn’t hot. It was slow in coming. The dinner served on top of the appetizers. It’s expensive for what you get. Personally our family and friends avoid there. Maybe a drink on the patio that’s it.
We have attended a couple of times for lunch and the servers were great! Ross was especially fantastic! Food was delicious and had no issues with anything. Look forward to returning again.
Went here for a family lunch and had a few issues. The drinks took a very long time to get to the table. Probably a good 10-12 minutes. Was not our servers fault, but it was a Saturday afternoon and it looked like the bartender could have used some help. The spinach dip was good! No complaints with the appetizers. However, a couple of the main pasta dishes had to be sent back. I have never seen so much liquid in a pasta bowl. It wasn’t even just the bottom of the bowl. It basically looked like soup with fettuccine noodles. Also, when we sent the dishes back we saw our server approach her manager and hand her the dish and you could visibly see that the manager was annoyed and even said “it’s not that bad”. It was bad. I should’ve taken a picture. Over all, our server was good, I kind of felt bad for her having to deal with the kitchens mistakes. There should also be an expo to make sure dishes like that don’t make it to the table.
