La Taberna De Juan Bakotas - Orihuela

We arrived here a family of six at 1pm for lunch. The place was pretty empty apart from some men at the bar drinking and one table with a span ish family and their kids. We sat down and waited on a menu. And waited. And waited. Two waitresses passed us several times and one of them stopped to have the craic with the barman, but nobody approached us. We gathered up our children and left. The waitress caught our eye as we passed her on the way out, yet said nothing. Very strange level of customer service!

We had a very bad experience at this restaurant last night (29.6), four adults and two teenagers. Our meals were so delayed that one of us had finished his main before the last starter was served. One main was forgotten and had to be prepared after the others had eaten. The paella was inedible. After all of that, the bill included food we hadn't ordered! Not recommended.

Tena very good price of the quality of the relacina but they have raised the price of some dishes in excess. for example, some calaramares to the Roman (star photo) that were very little made and worth 18. However, pizzas are still very good and powerful paellas (at the same time they give me how and the prices of these are not too excessive. If you choose the dishes well, you can eat well at a reasonable price. I hope the price rise will be temporary for the increase of everything and remain a symbol of campamor.

13/082022 updated the bakota review. I have to say that to my surprise, there's more organization. this means improving the service and we have taken little time to have dinner. We have not had the tension of other times and the kos have dedicated themselves to relaxing and enjoying. not as old. for this fact, I change my 1 star to 3 stars rating, as it has improved in my opinion ostensibly. the command team very well, fast and without mistakes. I really appreciate the change. Thanks a lot. I leave two stars to keep improving. old review 2019: one year later I have returned to bakotas. We've been waiting for more than 50 minutes for dinner. For those of us who go with children, we're supposed to be kaos. total disorganization and poor service. they don't put a limit on the line, which means they have more demand than they can cover. After 50 minutes, and repeat it several times, they have brought me the salad to cease, almost without salsa and without chicken. I can always quote something good from the sites, but in this case I can't find it.

Nothing to highlight, very expensive for the product they offer.
