Alegria - Orihuela

I'd rather go hungry, infact I did the food took so long. When the starters finally come out one at a time 10 minutes after either, so did the mains and I was expected to pile the plates. I'm glad i kept my knife and fork because my friend who didn't got fed up waiting for a new set and just ate with his fingers. When dining I noticed around four tables walk out once being seated due to not being asked for any drinks or food after at least 30 minutes of waiting. I wish I took a leaf our of their book, I would.of had a better takeaway. My friends and I ordered a pizza and this was clearly a frozen pizza with toppings added. I was tempted to use the frozen dough for ice in my warm white wine. I would say the service was terrible... but there was no service to complain about so that would be unfair. In summary, if you want no service, frozen/microwave food and a night ruined, then I would highly.recommend this resturante.

This is an excellent bar with a choice of Tapas or full meals. Everything is cooked to order so lovely and fresh, The owner is very friendly and always makes you feel very welcome. The prices are very reasonable and is highly recommended.

Service and food to begin with was great. Maybe a very busy and understaffed night but twice asked for desserts and got told no ask the other person. Asked again got told no, drinks order first and she never came back! Ended up feeling like we were just an inconvenience, which wasn’t great. Was tempted to walk out as we couldn’t get any service to pay the bill. My other half went to pay at the bar in the end. Paid without having any desserts and very disappointed with our last night out of our holiday. Nice food but you need to sharpen up your service it really let you down.

We've eaten for several days in a row, everything's been excellent quality, prices, diverse menu and exceptional service from Alex. Highly recommended, hands down the best restaurant in the area.

Ya la tercera vez que vamos a este restaurante y siempre estamos felices. Muy bien recibido y personal muy agradable y profesional que incluso trata de hablar francés con nosotros. Precio de calidad muy bueno. ¡Lo recomiendo! Gracias.
