Based on Google 's surprisingly good recommendation, we chose the restaurant as the location for our first dinner in Orfű. When we arrived, we were a little surprised to find that there is no possibility to sit inside, you can only reserve a seat on the terrace, which in itself is not a problem, but during the late afternoon of about 20 degrees, it is not lucky to freeze : But don 't worry, the nice waitress quickly took our drink order, and then we could order the food: I asked for catfish stew with dill cottage cheese nokedli, with elderberry lemonade. The sun has arrived in iron legs, and even the highlight of the week, the catfish stew. Prepared as it should be, fresh and hot, with the right amount of juice and just the right portion, not too large, with nokedli cooked to just the right consistency, with two rings of green pepper. It was literally flawless food!!! Unfortunately, the other members of our table didn 't fare nearly as well, one broth was actually inedible, two fried cheeses were slightly lukewarm, and the other two meat dishes seemed more average than good : It 's a shame that there was such a wide variation between the dishes, I don 't even understand how, in addition to the magnificent catfish stew, the other items didn 't manage to be at least slightly above average... ... overall, the place falls very far from the average of 4.8 achieved so far, I would rather put it somewhere between 3 and 4. Excellent food and portions, fair service. Good price/value ratio. I can only recommend it to everyone instead of the usual Hungarian lángos/Hambi/pancake beach menus! Here, you can have a quality lunch at a similar price in a nice environment. I would like to highlight the group's love of rock music, the demanding MUSIC during lunch was a pleasant experience. Bar tastes, right? One request is good advice for the team: we could use a pillow for the hard benches ; We'll be back!
