Sizzler - Orem

Great costume service! I loved the lower fewer rolls of bread. My husband chose a kind of steak, and my daughter and I chose the roared salmon it was pretty good! I was happy to be able to make a healthy choice when on a low carb diet. It was our first time there and we had a great time!

Date of Visit: 6/8/2019 OVERVIEW 4.25 Came here with my little family and my folks as they were in town visiting. We were literally driving down the road trying to decide where to eat, and decided on Sizzler's as we saw it. LOCATION 5 Sizzlers is located on the busy State Street there near University Parkway. It might be tricky to get to if your going north, but going south it is real simple to get there. PRICE 4 The price is rather reasonable. As it was my parents paying for the meal we tried to go as cheap as possible, but my wife wanted to add on the salad bar and a lemonade. I handed off my card after I had been seated to pay for the salad bar. So instead of charging me the salad bar with the purchase of a meal $6.49) they charged me the full price $11.49) that bothered me quite a bit. Felt like they were a bit incompetent. PRODUCTS/SERVICES 4 I ordered their special for $7.99 which was the chicken malibu with a 8 oz steak and one side. I felt like the steak was puny. It probably was the correct size, but it was so small. POINTERS/PERKS N/A As a pointer, they let you get yourself a self serve ice cream even if you don't get the salad bar) as you leave. EMPLOYEES 4 We were served by Josh. He was nice and all, and it may have been because they were busy, but my drink was frequently sitting empty on the table.

Loved the cheese toast but we had to ask for it, they don't just bring it out anymore. We enjoyed the rolls, fish and chips, Malibu chicken (especially the sauce), ice cream and most of the salad bar. Some of the lettuce was old and gross, the floor around the salad bar was pretty sticky and multiple items were mixed into other containers. The cashier seemed to be irritated by us and came off a bit curt. Server was just ok.

Worst meal I've had in a long time. Steak was not cooked well part was medium part was medium well I requested medium rare. The portion size was a joke for the price I paid. At least make me feel like there is food on the plate by adding a few more fries! We are never coming back here.

We really wanted to eat some salad and decide to go to Sizzler as they were one of two places that popped up when we searched on Google.
