I am told that the owner is a hard start in life and gives opportunities for young people in similar positions. I don't know that's right, but you think it could be and makes me feel good to drop some coin there.
Good selection of hot and cold sub sandwiches and cakes. Great atmosphere. I ordered hot subs. Highly recommended ordering ahead. I was only person in store at 11:40 am, 25 people came after me and 12 got their food ahead of me (at 11:57) because they called ahead.
I travel for work and look forward to the days I’m in Utah county to visit here. Everything I’ve had is good but especially the breakfast sandwiches. The bread is amazing and the filling is always cooked and seasoned perfectly.
Ernie's is timeless. I used to, and I'm sure kids still do, skip school just to come here for the famous Champ sandwich. Now they serve it all day, and I couldn't be happier. Anytime I'm back in the area I have to stop in for a Champ. It's just the perfect breakfast sandwich
Good vibes, better sandwiches. I've been coming here for years and the sandwiches have never disappointed me. I also like that the kitchen staff always listens to classic rock and is not obnoxily excessive (never rude though). Definitely a highlight on a street where the restaurant industry is a little saturated
