Soban - Oregon City

My wife and I ate here on a rainy Friday night. The staff was very friendly and explained all the dishes we had questions about. I had steamed the chicken bowl and pancakes. Both were excellent. The bowl was nice and spicy exactly the right amount of spices in my opinion. Many sticky rice, carrots, zucchini and salads, too. My wife had the tofu dish and they let her replace two eggs for the tofu. She also had the curry reel. Both were once again excellent. We will definitely return here and recommend them for good Korean food.

When we sat down in this treasure of the city of Oregon, the savory aroma of fresh seeds of the soil filled the air.. The owner son patiently ground the seeds by hand then quietly lifted the bowl for us to smell the rich earthy aromas that seem to embody the menu on this earth, delicious, and beautifully designed Korean fusion restaurant. I highly recommend it. The food is excellent! One of the best restaurants in Oregon by far!

The food is so fresh and carefully made. There are decent options for such a small place. I believe both Soban and Ingrid's (which shared the room were both food carts that decided to have a more durable residence. Even if you want to eat Soban's delicious food and enjoy a beer, you can buy your Soban food and take it right next door to the Arch Bridge Taphouse (includes an entry path that connects the two. I love the bulgogi taste, but it is listed on the menu for rice bowl and today I wanted to try the Tofu rice bowl. I still wanted this tasty bugolgi taste, so I asked if I could replace it on the tofu and he liked to. The food is great and it will change the flavors with the meat / fu when you ask. While the aromas are great, the presentation is also beautiful!

Large double-bap rice bowls (although sad without the crispy rice stuck on the bowl). Small plates, small tables, friendly atmosphere and great beers from next door. A welcome addition to our list of restaurants in downtown.

Amazing food provided by an outstanding staff. My wife and I are hooked we can't get enough of the pork bowls. Would 100% recommend!
