I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I was hoping for a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of my time in Scotland, but there were no bagpipes or Scottish music. Despite it being a busy evening, we felt overlooked in favor of customers who arrived after us. The steak and mushroom pie I ordered turned out to be onion soup, and when I questioned this, they brought me a flaky biscuit with a Scottish dog imprint on it, which turned chewy and soggy in the bowl. The bread pudding was simply bread with whipped cream on top, lacking the usual pudding texture. There was one area that resembled a pub but it was empty and cold, and we felt somewhat neglected there.

I always have a great time when I visit this pub. I love the pasties and the selection of beer is fantastic.
