Applebee's Grill - Orchards

Chicken alfredo with broccoli was really good and also the bacon cheeseburger was the right one boiled away and was made so that it ordered riders were still hot when we got them

My boyfriend and I came for lunch, and we were not disappointed. We were seated quickly and our server, Betty, was very attentive and checked in on us frequently. We got the 2 for $23 and had the spinach and artichoke dip for our appetizer. The dip came out quickly and was topped with parmesan cheese. There were plenty of chips and plenty of dip. Our food came out shortly after, we hadn’t finished our appetizer when it came out which was awesome. I got the classic cheeseburger with fries, and it was juicy and flavorful. This was an awesome and refreshing experience because we have been used to long waits at chain restaurants.

Pretty good for an Applebee's. The staff is friendly and professional, the food is ok (except the salmon which so far across many visits is always delicious) and fairly quick. I guess the next time I go I need to raid the bar so I can say how the alcohol side of the restaurant is. Until then...

We arrived mid-afternoon on Sunday and were seated quickly at a high top table near the bar. There appeared to be sufficient server staff to meet the customer needs, which is unusual anymore at most restaurants. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Our food arrived promptly and was quite good. My only complaint would be the noise level but, that was also expected. I had to remove my hearing aids in order to hear my wife sitting next to me. We were surrounded by raucous NFL fans watching the games on the many screens. It would likely have been quieter on the periphery of the restaurant but no seats were available for two people.

My wife and I ordered the 2 for 29. She got the steak, garlic mashed potatoes, and broccoli and I got the ribs and fries. We had the boneless wings for the appetizer and they were good. Our waitress Alexis B was awesome and did an excellent job taking care of us! The food on the other hand was a let down. My wife’s steak was chewy and kind of bland, potatoes were room temperature and had a crust on top like they had been sitting somewhere in the oven or under a warmer, her broccoli was the best thing on her plate, my fries were not done. They were white, mushy, and had no yellow or golden color, the ribs had very little meat and were the toughest ribs I have ever ate. It was like they had been sitting somewhere and dried out and microwaved and bbq sauce thrown on top to make it look pretty. This was not their finest day for sure. Atmosphere was not very good either, couple of guys at bar were very loud watching the game and screaming so not family friendly in my opinion.
