A college friend and I biked 28 miles to Ashfall Fossil Beds. We were tuckered out but rode on for four more miles to this restaurant and it was more than worth it. Every pain in our butt or thirst in our mouth was totally forgotten once we entered their door. Delicious food. Excellent friendly service. Homemade pies freshly baked that day with more choices than I have ever seen at one place. If only I lived closer I would frequent the place.
You won't be sorry if you stop at Green Gables. I've stopped there numerous times and the food is wonderful. The large choice of pies is out of this world. All baked in their own kitchen. My wife and I last stopped in June of 2009. She enjoyed the upstairs gift shop.
