Nella's Jerk - Orangeville

Ordered a large Jerk dinner. Chicken was really dry, the salad was warm, the rice was good though. For 21$ I would expect better!Food: 2/5

I would give this restaurant a 4 star but I’m told bones in the chicken is traditional in the serving. Other than that, the food here is amazing. Myself and my friends love coming here. Friendly staff and fantastic service. Keep up the great work!

About 2 months ago I ordered for 15 people rice peas, fried chicken, j pork and macaroni salad) and it was a huge hit ! I re-ordered 2 weeks ago for another party different crowd) and again positive feedback all around.The service was great each time. Very accommodating and portions larger than I expected. Food was hot and fresh.I live up in Shelburne and it’s worth the drive. I will be going back for future events as well as one off lunches or dinners.Thank you and keep up the great work.

I’ve only tried Nella’s since it was taken over by new management but, i have to say I’m very impressed. I wanted to try everything on the menu before leaving a review and i can confidently say, this food is made with love and passion. Everything I’ve tried, I’ve really enjoyed. There’s so much flavour in every item. It always tastes fresh. Even the pleasant and welcoming energy of the new owners is wonderful. The store itself has a very positive vibe as soon as you walk in. I look forward to making Nella’s my go to spot when I’m in Orangeville.

Used to frequent this place a lot when it first opened. Under new management it has definitely gone downhill. Limited food available during dinnertime and the person behind the counter was clearly more interested in his highly audible personal phone call than serving us.Too bad but we now go to Topville instead.
