Friar Tuck's Bistro - Orange

Lunch in the bistro in the middle of the week. extensive varied menu as well as great pinot noir. very relaxed atmosphere that we were not rushed.

This restaurant has become a favorite lunch spot for us. The staff is friendly, the food is great pub fare, and we appreciate the layout of the venue. There is a designated family area with a playground for kids, which is situated far enough away from the dining tables for those looking to enjoy their meal in peace.

I have visited this restaurant several times. I have been disappointed with the food, such as the tasteless fish basket made with frozen seafood, and the dry hamburger. I recently tried the American hamburger and I will never buy it again, especially since I live in Australia where there are delicious Australian burgers available.

We landed here as most other restaurants were closed or fully booked in orange for public holidays and it was a pleasant surprise. very spacious venue, tastefully decorated, quite extensive menu and good value for the quality of the food. we shared a...lamb souvlaki plate for 2 4 spits, roasted kartoffels, humus and tsaziki, pita brot and Greek salat all for $52. delicious would definitely order it again.

We visited orange and discovered this jewel near our accommodation. the friendly, helpful staff made us feel at home and found us a beautiful table near an open fire. eating was 1st grade (barramundi, chips and salat) and the local wein went...well it was nice to park at the door and have seat flexibility. we repeated the visit the following evening and again everything was perfect.
