Nicole's On The River - Orange Park

I wanted to try to support the local businesses. waited a while until everyone comes to our table with menus. server never looked at us. She looked the door all the time she came to the table. I ordered 2 pancakes with whistle and did not know that they served brown and serve sausages. not impressed. pancakes were good, and rührei were their typical agitation. husband ordered a wrap-type breakfast, forget the name, he asked about throwing gravy up, the server looked at him as if he were crazy. he also ordered 2 pancakes. the Wrap thing he ordered was meh. when the food finally came out, delivered 2 people, the server still looked at the door. anyway, they dropped the food and left. husband's pancakes were not with his order. we wanted to ask for them, but never saw our server. about when we wanted to get up and ask that they were removed from the bill, another server appeared and asked if we waited on pancakes, they were left on the table and ran away. Unfortunately, our first experience here was not great. not back now. not the $30ish we spent.

I had never been but I was sadly let down that most breakfast items seem to be just thrown in the microwave minus the eggs. Thats as far as the breakfast items. The rest of the menu I'm not sure. I tried it a second time just in case of a fluke, same sad disappointment. Not saying that it's terrible because it isn't. Just needs improvement.

So yummy sandwiches and burgers, amazing customer service.

Overall a very Meh experience. No hostess, no seat yourself signs, waitresses walked4 by patrons entering who end up standing there for 5 minutes at a time (us, and about 7 other people who came in after us).Food was definitely nothing to brag about. They were out of a few menu items.Could be a really great place but it was confusing. They claim better prices than the other breakfast places nearby, but the other places are well worth the extra 10-20% of the cost for the quality of food and service.

Food was OK.No kids menu for breakfast. Full price for my six year old.Under staffed, no one bussing tables.Our waitress wasn't so friendly.Nicole's in the country preferred for a better experience.
