My wife and I make the drive from an hour away every month to stock up on meats. With my background in meat processing and butchering, I really appreciate being able to support a professional at the pinnacle of their craft. What I love most about Woudstra’s is their incredible selection of traditional sausages and other processed meats. It's quite rare to find a quality metwurst in the U.S. They also offer saucijsjes and other Dutch delicacies, like hagelslag! If I recall correctly, I’ve even seen krokets there. If I could just find some bamischijf, it would feel like I never left Noord Brabant! This is the best butcher shop I’ve discovered in Iowa. Whether you're passing through Orange City or planning a special trip, it's definitely worth the drive—over an hour in the car is worth it if you're serious about high-quality meats.

This is the place to go if you're looking for Dutch foods as well as any kind of seafood or meats, everything here is top quality and the people are nice and the store is exceptionally clean and they even have a nice wine selection, top notch place!

I love the fresh eggs for breakfast, raw unfiltered honey for coffee, and dried pig ears for my pup!
