The Sugar Shack Cafe - ORANGE BEACH

I was so hesitant to visit here because of the reviews about the customer service. However, we gave it a try and were definitely impressed. There was a mom and her daughter working and also a guy named Jake I believe. All 3 of them were super friendly. When we entered, Jake immediately approached and greeted us and started playing with my 10 month old. They even remembered us when we came back later in the evening for snacks and were super friendly then even though it was about 10 minutes until they closed. The food and service were 10/10! I had the cheeseburger and my son had the BLT. Both were delicious and fairly priced. We will definitely be back!

We arrived just after food service closed but the woman working said they were happy to cook for us. The young man in the back made us two hotdogs that were delicious. We had chips, not wanting to ask them to cook anything else but they gladly would. have. They were kind and hospitable. We purchased a small bag of mixed candy to go and the selection is great with many nostalgic offerings. Kid-friendliness: Fun candy selection for kids. Several families stopping in as we ate to let their kids pick candy. Also a few opting for the ice cream that looked to have several options. Friendly staff and helpful to everyone.

Me and my boyfriend got one pound of candy each, when me and him saw the sign on the candy that said $3.75 per pound and the man at the counter over charged, very false advertisement and ended up paying $44.46 dollars for 2 pounds of candy, we will not be going back.

We had the cheeseburger combo, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwich combo…..the best food we have ate since we have been here! The sizes are huge. Prices are good too!
