This excellent experience of Southern cooking and hospitality cannot be matched anywhere else. We ladies laughed until we cried sharing life's stories and the fellas ventured equally a camaraderie. No room tv, phone, or distraction brought you mindfully back to a slower paced and 1:1 time with your mate. Lilia was a wealth of knowledge, live energy and always eager to serve in anyway possible. She is a very abled bodied and strong in ethics and politeness. The Original Romar House is an experience you dont want to miss.Thank you Lilia and Lala. My husband and I just got back from a trip to one of the best places we 've been to in a while since Covid hit.We stayed here at the Original Romar House B B in Orange Beach AL.What caught my attention was the allure of a couples getaway without kids. This B B fit exactly what I wanted for my birthday getaway.Lilia (the Innkeeper) is amazing! She had our room (The Red Snapper) ready for our 5 day stay before we arrived. It was clean and super cozy.We didn 't have to ask for anything during our stay.The bed was large enough for both my husband I and it was so comfortable. (I did bring my favorite pillow and a blanket for personal use, but what was provided was comfortable. I just always travel with both for my own comfort.)The inn itself is very very clean and so laid-back. We enjoyed the company of the couples we met during our stay.Breakfast each morning was on time delicious. You can either eat inside or outside. We chose to eat on the balcony each morning.Lilia had a wine cheese meet and greet each evening at their Purple Parrot bar which was really nice. I really enjoyed that part. lolThe bar also had a great selection of alcohol, sodas and water. It 's a do it yourself type set up and available whenever you want to mix a drink or pick up a soda or water. Menu of prices are on the bar.The pool hot tub was an added bonus and Lilia cleaned both daily.They have a private beach access in the pool area and a shower to rinse off the sand from the beach on your return.Overall we really enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend it for an adults only couples getaway.I 'm already planning our next visit!Thank you Lilia for an excellent birthday week! ?

This is our 3rd time to stay here and we like it better each time. The pool is perfect, the breakfast each morning is out of this world. And the fellowship with other guests staying here is great. So relaxing, a breath of fresh air.

Flying solo these days...first visit to any kind of B&B and decided to give it a try! Reviews were justifiably good! Thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay! Lilia the Inn keeper was very friendly and welcoming! She cooked up delcious breakfasts and the wine and cheese evenings were a great touch! Stayed in the very clean, quaint and comfortable Red Snapper Room made it a superb first time stay! THANKS! I WILL be back!
