The Pizza Store - Orange

This restaurant is located in a strip mall and features a friendly and accommodating staff. They bring your food and drinks directly to your table, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The venue has a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of the mom-and-pop pizzerias I used to visit on the East Coast. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I was pleased to find that I could order personal pizzas without cheese. The prices here are quite reasonable, making it an excellent choice for anyone craving Italian food in a more relaxed setting without breaking the bank. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available, along with wall-mounted TVs showing sports coverage. They also offer a variety of beverages, including different types of alcohol. However, I did notice a slight musty odor indoors on more than one occasion. It might be helpful for the owners to consider using air fresheners or a neutral cleaning product with a light scent, like Murphy's Oil Soap, to enhance the ambiance.

I prefer my crust to be slightly browned and toasted. It's the ideal balance between crispy and chewy (but definitely not doughy). I can't quite describe it, but the texture and flavor are just perfect. If you want your crust crunchier, you can ask them to extend the baking time, although keep in mind that leftovers might be a bit dry the next day. Alternatively, you can take it home and bake it to your liking. Personally, I find the center of the pizza a bit soggy, so I usually don’t eat it right out of the box. My only complaint? I wish they offered a white sauce option!

Pretty decent pizzas! I got their $7.99 two slices drink special. Option for me today was cheese, pepperoni, and Hawaiian. Friendly staff and the pizzas were good. Id come back again when Im in the area. Just fyi for credit card users. There is an additional charge (think about a buck)
