On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina Orange

I am giving this restaurant 2 stars instead of 1 because the chips and salsa were good. The server was friendly, but the service was lacking. We had to wait 20 minutes for our soup and another 20 minutes for our meal, in addition to waiting 10 minutes just for water. The chicken tortilla soup was not warm and the food was overly salty.

The food was incredible and the prices were even more fantastic. Their daily specials are definitely worth checking out!

This is a fantastic restaurant to gather with a large group. We visited the day after Thanksgiving and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating to our party's needs. They had everything we needed for our big table.

This place is the best! not only do they have great food, but the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Even the manager are great! can not say enough good things about this restaurant, anyone who works here should raise a bonus or raise. it is rare to find a restaurant with good food and great staff, but this place has it. ?

Honestly I don’t like doing stuff like this, and I hate seeing these same issues on social media…It’s very disturbing and absolutely disgusting. I went to ON THE BORDER in Orange CT, sat at the bar ordered a margarita and birria tacos. I took a few bites of my taco, then my last bite I felt something stab me in my mouth and it was very hard…….I took it out of my mouth and it was a TOOTHPICK. How can something like this happen… how is something like this a mistake?? I was so disgusted, nauseous almost threw up at the bar. The staff was extremely nonchalant about it. All they did was offer me more food that of course I did not want? I will be reporting this company and I will never ever return there again. Thankfully I didn’t swallow it ………….
