Przekaż informację zwrotnąOur last evening in Orange and we (rightly) decided on Le Parvis. The Mistral had thankfully dropped in intensity and sitting on the terrace was delightful. Orange is such a compact town, full of history and with style. Le Parvis is located on one end of a large metropolitan square directly facing La Post, over 100m away. The road is busy but the terrace is slightly raised and traffic noise was not a problem. I chose the €35, three-course menu and selected the Ceviche followed by the filet de bœuf concluding with 4 cheeses. We drank a local rosé followed by a 2016 Château de Bouchassy, Lirac. An amuse-bouche consisting of principally an artichoke heart followed on from some olives and bread which allowed us to finish our aperitifs. The ceviche was deliciously astringent and full of the taste of the fresh fish, some chopped vegetables provided contrast in taste and texture. The beef was perfectly cooked rare and served with string- and haricot-beans. The choice of wine was perfect. Lirac produces very little wine in comparison to its better known neighbours but it was full of fruit and held up so well with the flavoursome beef. It finally was demolished with the 4 cheeses which were a little disappointing in their variety to be quite honest, although they were perfectly presented (there might be a Covid-19 reason for this as I have noticed the scarcity of some cheeses in the shops). I have no complaints about the dinner it was excellent and the service, first class.
These guys are working toward a Michelin star and why not? It's an honourable objective. We had excellent service, a sommelier who was genuinely interested in what we wanted and correctly presented food from an interesting menu. Good for them, I hope that they flourish.

Very good restaurant with a nice and quality service. good dishes on the menu at 29,50€ (entrance - dish - dessert.) entry: reddish brandade and encornet dressing (Two and tender to wish). Delicious: a lamb with a cream and almonds and lavender ice (Delicious). A moment of happiness. Thank you.In the warmth, the air conditioning is very appreciable.
Sincerely the only advice I can give you is to go!We have enjoyed each other from the beginning to the end. a big thank you to the whole team of the parvis who has been looking forward to our mom's birthday. if we go back by orange we will return with pleasure.
