El Rodeo - Opelika

We came here at 5:30 on a Sunday night. obviously this place has more of an order to be in a nightclub, instead of a real restaurant. the waitress finally came over there after 10 minutes. her service was incredibly bad. then eat that, hang down, eat the worst Mexican I ever had. the flesh was so bad and tasted so old that both I and my wife had to stop eating our tellers because they were afraid to get food poisoning. I know that sounds like I'm extra, but I'm not. seriously the worst

We bought a house in the city recently and try the local restaurants. El rodeo fits a few times and decided to stop for dinner. get chips and salsa shortly after sitting, then we ordered drinks. my man has sweet tee and I ordered one of the frozen specialties a banana cabana. I also ordered an appetizer of cheese dip for the chips. tried chips and salsa during the waiting, chips were very greasy and several were soft instead of crunchy. the drinks came, they were good, but not a cheese dip. then we both ordered the rodeo burrito, steak for me and huh for my man, and I tried to reorder the cheese-dip assistant. burritos came and were not what we expected. Description from the menu: fajita chicken or steak. with beans, salat, tomato and sour cream my man looked like the description, but the beans were gone. mine was not all served with objects, but the cheese dip was on the burrito, instead served as an appetizer for the chips. let them know the waiter that we were missing things. he sent the manager. explains the question to the manager. he said they were drilling inside, not what we expected, but we were in order with it and he brought me my other missing articles. my man found a drilling in his burrito, I found a few more, but not many. the burritos tasted good, but we will not visit again.

Good service, good menu, but the food quality so. I think the pre-preparers pushed it. total. will you go back

Food tastes like mop water and metal. the karaoke is very loud

Best Mexican food in Alabama! I’ve eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants around Montgomery, Alexander City and Auburn and this is the best within 100 miles! The chicken fajitas are out of this world! Even the chips and dips they serve when you are seated are amazing. Definitely give this place a try!
