Taverne James - Oostende

This is the best brewery in Ostend. The croquettes are delicious. We have been coming here for 10 years and have never been disappointed. All dishes are excellent and reasonably priced, especially the homemade fries served with homemade sauces - a real treat.

Excellent. After walking just a few steps, you'll find a more spacious and relaxed atmosphere with delicious, high-quality cuisine. The only downside is that the fries aren't homemade. I paid 16.8€ for the house specialty: three croquettes with shrimp. The restaurant has a lovely terrace and the service is quick and friendly.

It was, of course, the James before. Moving from the Ensor gallery, he lost a little of his soul. But the shrimp croquettes are always very good. A must in Ostend.
