The Grinder Haven - Ontario

Growing up in Ontario, California, my mom would send me on my bike to get us three grinders—one for her, one for my sister, and one for me. I never ordered the pastrami, but the grinder I had was the best sandwich I've ever eaten. I haven't found anything that even comes close to it since then.

I really enjoy this place; I've been coming here for over 40 years. My parents brought me here, and now I've brought my kids as well. I absolutely love it! While the management has changed over the years and there have been a few ups and downs, we've always returned. The current management is fantastic, and the food is excellent with large portion sizes.

I've been a loyal customer of Grinder Haven for over 20 years and have been craving a delicious sandwich for months! I noticed they've been undergoing renovations. Today, I drove by hoping it would be open, but unfortunately, it wasn't—new asphalt had just been laid down. I can't wait to see if they still have that same great taste when they reopen. Please stay just the way you are, Grinder Haven!
