Smokin' Franny's Bbq - Ontario

This was definitely a very delicious stop. I was over at the loves truck stop for the weekend and walked over. Ordered the 3 meat plate and it was so fresh and very good.

Really enjoyed the pulled chicken sandwich I had, my husband enjoyed his brisket sandwich.

The food was okay. Pulled pork was cooked nicely but could have used a little more BBQ sauce. The Tater gems were a huge disappointment and waste of money. I did door dash and when I recieved my food I realized I paid $6 dollars for 10 tater gems that were not good at all. The sauce for the gems were pretty good though. I was also upset that I was not notified they did not have potato salad they just wrote sorry on the to go box and automatically substituted macaroni salad. I would have liked them to let the dasher know and reach out to me to see if that was fine or if I wanted something else.

Ribs and tri tip were good, but could have been more flavorful. The coleslaw was pretty good, but all the other sides we tried Mac and cheese, tater tots, and fried pickles were disappointing and bland. The fried sides were too greasy

Food was OK… only OK, not good, not great, certainly nothing to rave about. Family of 5, all different items, all had same feelings.Super irksome thing, because it’s not at all thoughtful about service… they have picnic tables for dinning there, but trash cans are across the parking lot. Also, the truck is leaking something, probably water, but clearly been leaking a LONG time given the size of the puddles. Combination of these really made the truck and experience feel shabby.Disappointed given other great reviews, wonder if we just had an off day or just not our preferences.
