Juanita's Iii - Ontario

When you see all the huge pickup trucks in the drive-thru and all the great young people standing in line, you know everything you need to know about Juanita's. This is not a health food spot or a place to come for a salad, but if you're in the mood for tacos, nachos, and burritos, this is the place to be. Most people I spoke to while waiting said that everything was good and you can't go wrong with any order, which is always a good sign. Their homemade flour tortillas live up to the hype. The salsa is decent, with the original rojo tasting like a tomato sauce, but the green chile verde being better. The crispy tacos are delicious but not great for traveling. The quesadilla is good but very filling. Don't forget to order an extra bean and cheese burrito for tomorrow.

I ordered a beef and cheese burrito, but they gave me a chile colorado burrito instead. It seemed like they were just going through the motions without much care. I wasn't impressed, but maybe I'll give it another try.

I no longer order food from here because the service is quite bad. The line can be chaotic and people don't know how to navigate it, causing delays. The food arrives quickly and is still tasty. When they open the dining area, I will consider giving them a 4-4.5 star rating. I asked for utensils and napkins, but they still didn't provide them, which is disappointing. The drink was not even filled to the top. Despite these issues, this restaurant serves my favorite white people-style Mexican food, and I have always made a special effort to eat here. The food is still good, but the service is lacking.

Great authentic Mexican food ? outdoor dining only the lady’s in the kitchen have it down. Prices are still normal pre-pandemic) had the combo plate with rice and beans and it was great ? will definitely came back again.

Unfortunately I live waaay too far from one of these Juanita's locations. I will pay someone to give me their red sauce (the Burrito red sauce and their spicy red salsa- 2 different things) recipes. Seriously.
