Einstein Bros. Bagels - Ontario

This is one of my favorite bagel places. I always come for their egg and salmon sandwich. There’s limited seating, and it’s usually busy, so be prepared for a wait.

The staff is polite and usually manages to serve a large number of customers fairly efficiently. I make it a point to stop here every time I fly out of ONT in the morning. Today, the cashier accurately repeated my order back to me: a lox sandwich on an everything bagel, toasted. However, after waiting for quite a while, I was disappointed to receive two of the smallest pieces of lox I've ever been served. I order this at every location, so I'm confident this is not the correct portion and certainly not worth the price. Additionally, I received a slice of tomato with the core and a plain bagel. If it hadn't been toasted, I would have returned the entire order, but they were very busy, so I settled for what they gave me. I recommend that management train the staff on the proper lox portion sizes and encourage them to read orders carefully instead of making assumptions.

I usually fly out of Ontario Airport, but I decided to try Einstein Bros. I ordered the pepperoni chicken sandwich and politely asked to have the pepperoni removed. Unfortunately, the woman at the register was quite rude and unprofessional when I made that request. Whenever I attempted to order or say something else, she kept interrupting me as if she were frustrated. While the food is tasty, I wouldn't return due to the poor customer service.

Whoever is managing this location is doing a great job. The location is spotless, staff are kind to each other and to customers, orders are spot on and the food is good! I wish all airport dining outlets were this good!
