Tate Joe's - Ongwediva

I felt very poorly treated by a waitress who had the nerve to shout at me for simply asking for water to wash my hands. I had even recommended this restaurant to my friends for their Wednesday pizza special, but after this humiliating experience, I regret ever speaking highly of it. It used to be a nice place a few years ago, but now I have no intention of returning. I'm left feeling traumatized and disgusted by how I was treated.

I had the worst experience at this restaurant. The waitress was incredibly rude and refused to provide us with water to wash our hands before eating. When we asked if she could just show us where the restroom was, she simply replied, “somewhere there,” but there was no visible basin. She claimed she wouldn't serve pizza with hand washing water, which was really frustrating. We were so taken aback that we hesitated to even ask for drinks. After some time, we decided to approach the bar to request them, but instead, the waitress mocked me for speaking English, as if I weren't a Wamboe. This was particularly odd since she had spoken English to us while taking our pizza order. I really hope the manager at Tate Joe’s provides better training on customer service for their staff. We go to restaurants to enjoy ourselves, not to be treated poorly! Date of visit: April 13, 2022, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

The food is outstanding! The vegetables are fresh and cooked just right, and the meat is incredibly tender. The only drawback is that the dining area is open, which allows the cool air from the air conditioning to escape, making it somewhat warm inside.

Bar with very nice interior and an even nicer bar girl! ICE cold draft available and a pizza can be ordered as well.

This place gives you a feeling of a Barn because of it's interior and decor! Very lovely indeed. It's annexed to the beautiful Africa Stadt Hotel more or less I would say it's the hotel's restaurant and bar. Their plate are huge big bites) I must say and very affordable. And the bar is exquisite because of it's hatched roof, so air ventilation is excellent . The bar area is separate from the dinning area if your intentions is only to eat and go) which is just awesome ow ya restaurant is children friendly). The restaurant is modern and the hotel I would rate it five star as their rooms are top knotch! Come over
