Buffalo Bar - Onanole

We had the apple french toast and the Clear Lake Benny. Both were excellent. Service was fast efficient and friendly. The waiter was back several time with coffee top ups etc. I have yet to try the supper experience ( Ten10 restaurant is the same venue). But I imagine it would be comparable. Breakfast runs between 12 and 22 dollars, supper between 22 and 40.

Have been here many times over the years, especially after the park's popular May-October visitor invasion. Always a good go-to place whether it's just for a burger and fries or delicious charcouterie/cheese board and wine. Love the Jets Pizza Pie half-off special during the hockey season too. Never disappointed!

After looking at the restaurants downtown and at Onanole, we decided to try the Buffalo Bar. It was Tuesday and wings were half price. My wife had wings, I had the Clear Lake Burger (I would recommend it), niece had the Clubhouse (highly recommend) and my sister had the Risotto Balls. Portions were above average, restaurant clean and modern, service good and the quality better than almost anything in the downtown core. We were surprised and very pleased with our choice.

TIP: Eat at Clubhouse 204 at the Clear Lake Golf course if you want a good meal with excellent service and a beautiful view. We stayed in a chalet for 3 nights. Made a reservation at 10 Steakhouse for Saturday. Prices of this place would indicate that it is an elite steakhouse ($50 steaks). Including our table, there were two tables in restaurant. Our reservation was for 6:30. We received our first drink at 7:10. By 7:30 we still had not received a crumb of food with no explanation. We asked if food would be coming soon, they said yes and that they were backed up because of a table of 15 in private room. By 7:50 we still had not received food, so we went and asked again. A different employee came and said that our food was being plated and would be coming right out...she also curtly apologized. The two kids meals came out at 8:00....by 8:15 we still did not have our food. Obviously, we should have walked out long ago but decided to then. One employee had the audacity to come over and blame it on the waitress because she was "new". So I guess the waitress is organizing staff and running the kitchen and plating the food now? Not only will I never go here again...I will continue to tell everyone about this experience so it doesn't happen to anyone again.

We ended up eating here the most on our stay. Good hours, good prices, and neat and original menu ideas. They had a Yorkshire Pudding burger which was delicious. Definitely would recommend.
