Tips: order them on the counter. if you're looking for crepes, ask. we didn't see them anywhere on the menu, so we didn't order them, but on my way to the toilet room there was a big photp of them. after their order they get their own drinks. they have very clean, single-person bathroom (but separate for m w .
Wheatfields used to be one of my fav breakfast places in the city, but I feel like service is slipped. first they have to eat up and find a table number, di drinks and then a free table. at least there are some external. then the poor server have to run around and try to find the right table number to supply her food. it is a bad system. eating is good, but really not worth the angry one. I would honestly rate it at 3.5.
Comfortable casual homestyle cuisine perfect in the old market at the corner of the 12th and jones. decor: very traditional German style, bright yellow, tasteful and humble, welcoming. the service: I was immediately greeted and my order placed. about 5 minutes later my sloppy joe was served on a fresh honey bun. (reference to my photos) about two minutes later I was presented with my scary. that seemed rude, so soon to make a check. a very non-European step. eating: the sloppy joe was a good hearty sandwich. slightly sweet, not too salty. the big steakries lubricated like frozen pommes, which everyone could pass at walmart. the bakery articles looked delicious, but will save this for the next time. overall it was a good hearty lunch, but I won't get the steakries next time. if this evaluation was helpful, please click on the button.
Cute little spot to bite on the way through the city. the breakfast burritos are massive, but mostly filled with kartoffels. I've never seen anything like that, but maybe this is just a midwest thing?
I ordered the Avacodo Toast. The toast is topped with spicy guacamole, sliced avacados and scrambled eggs with salsa on the side. I ordered minus the guacamole and salsa, but it came with both. I just wasn't wanting the spicy, however, it wasn't very spicy and tasted wonderful! The salsa was a nice touch with the eggs. The avacados tasted perfect! Ordered a Mimosa to drink.
