Upstream Brewing Company - Omaha

Update. We returned after a long time away. This time was much better than before. Jackie was our server this evening. She was outstanding. Made sure we had everything we needed. The food was very good. Beer was good as well. We will be back. We visited for the first time in over a year. My wife and I were excited to venture out to one of our all time favorite places. We sat a table near the bar at one of the high tables. Our server was great. The first beer was outstanding. That is where it went south. A large group of people descended on the bar. They were all over the place. The staff were having a hard time moving between the bar and our table. We made our order hoping that the large group of people would be seated soon. However, the group just continued to grow. This group was loud and began encroaching into our area. We spoke to a manager and he offered to move us to another table. That was a good solution. We were moved to a booth in the main dinning room. One of the servers stopped by to say that he would be right back after he figured out what was going on. The server was Rich. He never returned. He was working his tables and completely ignored our presences. We were served our dinner. I was ready for another beer, but no one stopped to check if we needed anything. After we had finished our original server found us. She apologized and told us that the manager that moved us never told her where we went. We asked for our check and she brought it to us. We say for nearly 20 minutes and no one came to pick up our card so that we could settle our bill. We then went to the hostess area. I asked to see a manager. The fellow that we visited with the first time had left for the evening. I explained the situation to another manager. I was extremely disappointed in being ignored by Rich. In my opinion he is not a team player by any stretch of the imagination. The manager adjusted our bill. This was a nice gesture. This experience, after not venturing out for over a year, has left a very sour taste in our mouths. It will be a long time before we return, if ever!!

Fantastic dining experience and craft brews! Ambiance was very cool in an old brick building. Food and drinks were terrific! If you haven’t tried this place, do so immediately!

Loved this place. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere inside the brewery was really cool. I’ll definitely be back!

Great service. Cool location. Beer just not very good considering the alternatives in town.

Shout out to UBC, dined there this week and was a little blown away on the quality of the food and adequate portions. These days a person gets used to small portions and also the fact that the food quality seems to be shaky everywhere. It's been awhile since I have been to an eating establishment and left satisfied with the experience! Thank you!
