I also always get a doubled cheese burger cause they are so freaking good! If you've never been it's worth the trip! They do it fresh too, not alot of food sitting around. So it might take an extra min. I always say take your time.
Not very good. I went because of the reveiw that the Food Prowl gave them. I really have to disagree with them on this one. My chicken was not juicy, it was soaked in oil. The 3 pieces I got took me 10 napkins to get through. The only spice on it was from the hot sauce I put on it to give it some flavor. The fries were not done enough. The potatoe salad was like store bought as was the roll. The only thing that I liked was the sweet potato pie I had for desert.

It Really is That Good. My buddy from North O finally got me to sample the food at Time Out Foods. I was impressed by what I ate. While Time Out has burgers and whatnot on the menu, what they are most known for is their fried chicken, which is available in sizes ranging from snack boxes all the way up to piece gargantuan boxes for They also specialize in chicken wings.I found the chicken pieces to be large, meaty and not all that greasy. The crust has a decent crispness to it. I'm not sure it is the very best in town, but it is very, very good. My box came with a dinner roll, crinkle cut fries and a choice of one other side. I chose the slaw, and really liked it. It reminded me of a slightly creamier version of the excellent slaw put out by KFC.The crinkle cut fries were pretty good as well, and there were a lot of them. The dinner roll was, well, a basic dinner roll. The only disappointment was being told that they were out of sweet potato pie. That's a hard item to find on Omaha menus, so I look forward to returning when they have it available. They have at least a half dozen types of pie. I settled for pecan, which was quite good, especially considering the bargain price.Service was friendly, fairly quick. The restaurant is clean, with enough inside seating to handle the crowd most times of the day. I noticed that the drive through was doing a brisk business.Time Out Foods is located at Evans, about minute's drive north of Cuming St, and less than minutes from Creighton University. I would say it is worth a drive of at least that time and distance to sample their food.
