Stokes Old Market - Omaha

Overall, it was a pleasant experience, though I believe the quality of the food was better a few years ago. It's still worth stopping by. The Margaritas are reasonably priced for what you receive, and the staff is very friendly. I had the Barbacoa Flautas, and I would definitely order those again!

Went to Stokes for Sunday brunch after everywhere else we tried to go was packed. The place was about half full when we showed up. The food was decent, but we had to wait over an hour for it to get brought out. We ordered at the same time as two other tables and their food showed up, and they ate it all before ours arrived. The waitress said that our order was up next, but about 10 orders came out before she showed up to see what was going on with our food. Food was fine. Not worth the wait.

Stokes at a beautiful place in the old market area of omaha. it is what I would consider a stylish bar and grill. it is nicely decorated, but it is still a bar and grill, so they can dress up or walk casual. waiter we had were helpful in suggestions and gave reasonable time. After the selection was made, eating came in quite reasonable time. quality was pretty good. we both liked what we had and would be willing to try the same again, but also willing to try something else. the atmosphere in general was decent. they will hang up a little louder volume there through the old market, but it was all respectful, only people friendly and excited. I wouldn't hesitate to try this place again, and if they were on the chew, I would try.

Our second visit to Stokes did not disappoint. Although we were informed there would be a one-hour wait, we were seated in just 25 minutes, which was no problem since we wanted to explore the market anyway. The nachos were outstanding, and my partner really enjoyed a sangria. The garlic shrimp pasta was delightful. I'm fairly certain we ordered the same dishes as last time, but it was definitely worth it. The atmosphere is cozy, the vibe is great, and the staff is very friendly.
