Lo Sole Mio Dining Room Open - Omaha

I went to this restaurant with my partner, who became ill shortly after eating. When I called to inquire about a refund, I was told that there was no way he could have gotten sick from their food. He had ordered the chicken parmigiana. The food was good until this incident occurred. I will not be returning to this establishment due to the unprofessional response from the owner regarding this situation.

Cons: The server, Margaret, was rude and judgmental towards customers based on their appearance. The food was extremely salty and cold, which could potentially lead to digestive issues. There was a long wait time for food, bills, and seating. The salads were overly sour and muddy, and the glassware was dirty. My partner and I had a traumatic experience with the server, Margaret, and the overly salty food. We arrived at 6pm on 10/16/2021 and waited 50 minutes for a table. Margaret took another 15 minutes to come to our table and displayed a negative attitude towards us. She seemed disinterested in taking our orders and even forgot to bring us an extra spoon despite multiple reminders. After waiting an additional 40 minutes, our pasta dishes arrived. The Pollo Prosciutto was overly salty and the salad was unappetizing due to its muddy texture. The Pasta di Casa was passable, but still not up to par with other restaurants. Margaret paid no attention to us throughout the meal, resulting in us having to ask for water refills and the bill multiple times. After eating at this restaurant for an hour, I experienced digestive issues. Overall, our experience was unpleasant due to the rude server and subpar food quality.

Lo Sole Mio is my go-to Italian restaurant in the Omaha area for scrumptious Italian cuisine. The service from the staff is fantastic and attentive. The portion sizes are generous, so even the biggest appetites will leave satisfied.

This food is simply AMAZING!! The service staff is top notch.

One of the best meals I had in awhile!!! Just outstanding!!!
