Przekaż informację zwrotnąSurprised!. Previously I had only eaten Jason's Deli when we had it catered in at work. When I went to the actual location for lunch, I was very surprised by the wide variety of sandwiches, soups and salads available. Very tasty and affordable lunch. Also pretty quick to to get through if you need to go somewhere faster but don't want a drive-thru. Save room for the free softserve ice cream.
A Staple in the Rotation. I don't think I've ever had anything that I did not like at Jason's Deli, across many states. The menus are identical no matter where you are but always span a significant spectrum sandwiches, pasta, salads... The food is above average, they take some time to throw in a few extra flavors to keep from becoming a simple sandwich joint.
Big salad bar and even bigger sandwhiches. And all of the free ice cream you want
Huge Menu. A very nice restaurant, featuring loads of great sandwiches, at least 6 soups a day, and a great salad bar. The Muffalleta sandwiches are enormous...enough for three meals. And you can have free soft serve ice cream if you save room. An informal come as you are yet pleasant atmosphere adds to the experience. You order at the counter, pay for your food, and they will bring it to your table. This is a good place to bring a large group as you can easily move tables together. Prices are moderate..in the $10 range for a typical meal.
Enormous spud. I have only been to Jason's Deli once, but it was memorable. I ordered the Pollo Mexicano baked potato last night and the tuber was I kid you not hot enough to cause third degree burns and as big as a baby's head. The spud filled an entire plate and had skin sloughing off the roof of my mouth with the first bite. I threw caution to the wind and ordered the Pollo potato instead of the Plain Jane, which was what I was initially thinking about ordering. The chicken on the Pollo was seasoned quite well. The dish could have used more tomatoes and more evenly distributed butter. I was surprised there was no sour cream on this dish. Onion and green pepper were ample for my tastes but some people might like to have more. The one drawback to a spud this size is that the ingredients to potato ratio can get out of whack. I ate my fill and then went after my favorite part the potato skin and there was still the equivalent of a whole potatoe's worth of russet meat left on my plate. I added a cup of seafood gumbo to my order, not realizing the Chernobyl sized portion of spud I would be receiving. The gumbo was great a little thinner than I've had elsewhere, but the flavor was fantastic. The soup had a nice spice kick that was not too hot but enough to get the hanky out. It had several bites of seafood (shrimp I believe) not a ton but good enough. I would definitely order this again. A cup was enough. I would order the baked potato again but next time I'll go with the option for a smaller portion. Jason's Deli has good looking sandwiches and a salad bar. I may return to give those a try.
