Herbe Sainte - Omaha

Although they list a vegan etoufee on their menu online, it is not on their in person menu. When I asked about it, they let me know they no longer serve that dish. It was their only vegan dish. I was very disappointed. I would not recommend going to Herbe Sainte if you are looking for vegan (or even vegetarian options.

Very friendly and quick service in an entertaining and relaxing atmosphere. The food is generally good, and some things are delicious. Try the Clam Chowder and the Cornbread.

I just need my waitress to know a few things:1. Eat... I was serious about needing a pusher to get to Auto3. Your Valentine's outfit was super sweet!!!4. The best crustaceans I had outside New Orleans and most similar. Service was friendly, food was delivered very quickly. Food was excellent, small menu, but good choice. The part looked small, but the bowl deceived, it was a meal. Small place, lively place. Tables, bar area, also small seating area, not sure whether this is to wait or just enjoy a cocktail with friends. Prices were fair on all menus and drinks.

Yesterday we've had Herbe Saintes for the first time. We came around 6 and the manager said it was a 45-minute waiting time, but led us over the road to Inner Rail while we waited. No problem, but the next time we will suggest that they call the seats for smaller parties. I'll start by saying we had GREAT service. I think our waiter's name was Lennord. He went out all night. We ordered the Nola Shrimps for a starter. Holy cow! Probably one of the best appetizers we've ever had. If you like shrimp, it's a must! I ordered the cancer Étouffée and my friend got the Roast Beef Po' Boy. The Étouffée was some of the best I ever had. Next time I'll add shrimps. My friend loved his Roast Beef Po’Boy and said he would get it back. I'm sure we're back. It is extremely loud there, so if you are looking for a quiet place to eat, this is not the place. The kitchen staff also had very long/tensioned barte. It would be nice if they wore beard nets.
