Black Oak Grill - Omaha

Omaha has some of the best places to relax and enjoy great weather. the outside seats with views of the park is worth visiting this place. the dining room takes up almost the feeling of an art gallery. the service is excellent and is a good reason to bring her data here for a pleasant evening. stare all away.

I needed to get lunch. I ordered the meat with smashed potato and cheesecake. the meat leaf was fantastic as the smashed carrots. the cheesecake was not so good.

I was impressed by the facility, the service and the menu, but eating was not more fun. the chicken roast steak was badly executed with a greasy brotbacke that was thrown away from the meat and a random hunk of partially steamed brokkoli that was probably thrown onto the plate to add a little color. the woofers were really not too bad, I would get them back. I had to laugh when they advertised their husker burger as one of the best burgers in the city. only because they use brioche and then throw on a ei does not mean that they have something special. go to leadbelly over the road to have the best burgers in the city overall is black oak grill not bad, but it has to start more taste...read more

After eating luck at the Posh wine bar, brixe, several friends and I decided that we need a soap dose of comfort food to prevent winter claws. so we walked out the terrace door and strolled or so feet over the neighboring black oak grill. Despite the Friday night, the place was only moderately occupied so that we sat in a comfortable stand. a moment later our young waiter appeared and greeted us immediately with an howdy, fellers I had to ask him what he had just said, as in over half a century of eating in omaha restaurants has never greeted me so much. Part of the midtown crossing complex, black oak grill has a wonderful patio with beautiful views of turner park and the downtown skyline. Their menu is very practical fare, nothing too fancy or exciting. I enjoyed their fried goat cheese but was not impressed with my friends nachos. Overall good is not good. Great location, lots of room for improvement on their menu.
