Billy Frogg's Grill - Omaha

This was the worst experience ever. We arrived at 1:30 pm on a Tuesday. Bar tender walked past us 6 times before taking our order. When he finally stopped and i asked what the specials and/or happy hour was he said none. So don't believe the website. Our chips and queso took 25 minutes. We decided not to order more food. We asked for our check twice. The 2nd time he immediately went behind the bar and started texting on his phone. We had to ask for it said 3rd time. We watched him ignore tables, forget who he was returning change to and he just generally had an I don't give a fooey attitude. Stay away from this place.

Not even one star worthy, food was horrible fish and chicken fried steak were hard as could be, way over done, nachos barley had any topping on them. When we said something to the server we were told we they couldn’t do anything cause we had eaten some of it but they would give us a 5% discount, then that couldn’t be done because they didn’t know the correct code for the system. Didn’t offer to fix the food or anything horrible place.

I really enjoy visiting Billy Frog's and hearing the warm welcome as soon as I arrive. It’s fun to see what kind of shot people choose to start with, even though I don't drink shots myself—I just appreciate the experience. Thank you, Mike, for being such an excellent bartender!

The restaurant features a full bar and a concise menu. The decor is impressive, showcasing unique memory pieces and vintage/retro elements that create a cool atmosphere. While the prices are somewhat elevated, the food is delicious and the drinks are served perfectly chilled.

This is a great spot for a beer or a simple cocktail. The burger is average, but the fries are fantastic—crispy and soft at the same time. The decor is eclectic and really fun. Overall, I’d rate the food 3/5 and the atmosphere 5/5.
