Apple Barrel Restaurant - Omaha

We arrived three hours before closing time on Sunday night and were unaware that half of the restaurant was closed. We mistakenly sat in the closed section, which happened to be the largest table in the restaurant. There were 4 adults and 4 kids in our group. Instead of informing us immediately that the section was closed, the only staff member working stared at us and then made a comment about a "road block." We were confused and unsure of what she meant. We were the only table in the restaurant, yet she eventually told us that the table we were at was closed with a miserable look on her face. We decided to take our business elsewhere as it seemed like she did not want to serve us. We hope her day gets better as she appeared unhappy.

This restaurant serves the best food ever. I hope they don't convert this place into fast food restaurants. We need more home-cooked meals like this out here.

I highly recommend this truck stop for its delicious Jalapeno burger, cheese curds, and sweet corn nuggets. The food was amazing and my waitress Lindsay was prompt and friendly.

I got the Saturday special a steak, three pancakes, two eggs and hashbrowns for $14.01 didnt know places served food lime this still for such little money?

The service was great, and the food was even better! We had Brenda as our server, and she was very kind and polite, she was amazing! For food me and my dad got double bacon cheeseburger, cheese curds, burnt ends, garlic parmesan fries and onion rings. Everything was amazing! Everything we got was perfect, and tasted sooo good. We especially liked the Garlic Parmesan fries, so if you're here, we highly recommend them.
