Autonomy Music Resto - Omaha

Once upon a time, I was a frontman of a band and we had our one and only gig at Autonomy Music Bar, located on a busy street in Mandaluyong. The night was a blur as I was high on adrenaline and a bit too much Red Horse, so please forgive me if my review is not as detailed as I would like it to be. The bar is literally hidden in the heart of Barangka Drive, with street children surrounding it. Unlike the upscale bars in Fort or Makati, Autonomy has an underground, gritty feel, reminiscent of the Bronx. It is also situated above a bakery, which adds to its unique charm. However, upon entering Autonomy, you immediately feel the energetic vibe of a gig. The space is intimate, perfect for small performances. They offer a selection of beers on tap, hard drinks, and cocktails for those who prefer them. They also serve some dishes - I tried their Sisig, but I was too nervous from performing to remember the taste. The sound system is decent, with strategically placed speakers. I have not had the chance to return as a spectator, but I believe I would enjoy just being there and listening to good music.
