Gardner's - Olympia

The fondue was watery and failed to cling to both the bread and the apples. To be honest, it was easily the worst fondue experience I've ever had. The dinner salad, however, was satisfactory, and the vinaigrette was quite tasty.

The food was mostly fantastic! However, the plain vegetables served with the hummus could have used a garnish or sauce to enhance their flavor, and the menu could benefit from a meat alternative for our vegetarian guests. We hope they might consider offering a product like Impossible or Beyond Burger in the future. Despite that one minor issue, everyone in our group enjoyed their meals and we look forward to returning for more of the outstanding service! The dishes we had included: Cauliflower Ceviche, Fondue, Salmon Flatbread, Sole Piccata, Short Ribs, Mushroom Ravioli, and Hummus.

The menu is innovative and the food was delightful. The beef soup that comes with the entrée was outstanding. I opted for the short ribs, and they certainly did not disappoint. The touch of truffle oil in the creamy sauce added a wonderful richness. I also enjoyed the creative garnish with the carrots; it was a nice touch. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place. Oh, and the drinks were impressive as well, featuring a fantastic selection of ingredients.

The food here is really good. And they change their menu every so often so the choices stay fresh and interesting. It's a nice place to sit down and eat, there's enough space for tables to not be squeezed together, and the decor is pretty nice. Their bararea is pretty great too, they have a good variety of beers on tap and a good cocktail menu. Very fun to visit if you're on thisside of town!

The food was delicious. I REALLY wanted to understand my server better. I appreciate her coming to work, but speaking quickly with a strong accent doesn 't benefit anyone. I feel like the phrase know your audience would be helpful. I tipped her well,but the three of us couldn 't comprehend anything. We had to have discussions on what was the take away to order. Also, why doyou get a complete sandwich for $18 as a special but only get 3 raviolis for $14. They 're delicious, but I finished my foodbefore my friends. Way before them. No sides. No bread.
