Sunshine Cafe - Ollantaytambo

We went to Sunshine Cafe for lunch and found it welcoming, clean and friendly, with great food. We liked it so much, we stopped at noon the next day before the train to Aguas Caliente.

Really nice owner. His family was there and he seemed as though he really cared. Good mix of coffee, cakes and food. Great location happy to go again.

Amazing little café with good coffee, good food and nice staff! The humus wrap was great and fresh. It has a rooftop area and a bar with a view on the ruins.

Had lunch there and it was really good! We took salads which were really good and with fresh products, fresh juices and really good deserts (apple crumble pie and red velvet cupcake). And the owners were very friendly!

During my summer stay in Ollantaytambo, everyday I would end up in Sunshine. Christiana, the owner of the american food cafe, is an amazing person and a fantastic baker. All of the food is really good, and they have deals for some of the days (i.e. Wine Wednesday, Salad Saturday, etc). It is a modern spot in Ollanta, something that you do not see a lot, and the best part is the terrace that they have, where they have rocking benches, umbrellas, and a beautiful view of the church and the archeological site. Whether you are looking for your daily coffee, having lunch or craving a baked good, Sunshine Café is definitely the place to go!
