Misky Unu - Ollantaytambo

Honestly, after our van trip from Cusco Airport and after lunch, before we took our train in Ollantaytambo, we were moved to this restaurant because of its reference on toilet facilities. It was our introduction to Peruvian meals, which means that patience was necessary. Although we were not pressed for the time when we arrived, we felt that way. Nevertheless, we found our meals more than sufficient. The remaining room was much less like that. The way back also offered a view into the kitchen that seemed a person cooking. Luckily we were the only group in the restaurant, but we had ordered five different dishes. Our meals were cooked to order and delivered with a smile.

Situated from the station in Ollantaytambo is the small café/restaurant Misky Unu, which we stumbled over an evening. The food service was so good that we came back to dinner the next day. Very good value for money, fresh house cooked food served with a smile in English.
