Bar Grigna Di Benasse' Angelo

Stopped for lunch and one of our best. Had green salad, salami piccante pizza, beer on tap, and finish with geloto sunday and expresso. Highly recommend.

Just eaten at this restaurant and completely angry. I ordered the house red and it was fizzy. The first wine glass was smelly. I got another glass but I could not drink the wine as it tasted really strange so I complained and asked to exchange for a beer instead . They still insisted on charging me for this wine even though they took most of it away. They said it was normal to be frizzante. I live in Italy and this is not true. The pizza was heavy and doughy. However to be fair the pasta fungi was good.

We stepped in this place by chance. Doesn`t look like million dollars but we already know to not to rate any place by it`s look. We were spending time on a nearby beach and the restaurant was few meters away at the other side of street. We ate two lunches and were very positively surprised! Every time food Was really good and at reasonable prices. There Was also no problem with communication in english. A good place to recommend! We`ll be surely back there next time we hit Como Lake :

It was our first restaurant we have visited when on our break on Como Lake. We were travelling to Bellagio and this restaurant caught our eye as being Trattoria. When arrived, restaurant was pretty quiet with a choice of tables. We have ordered two Spaghetti Carbonara, two Penne all'Arrabbiata and Penne with basil pesto and cream; unfortunately to my daughter's dismay this restaurant does not serve pizza. Food arrived quite fast (probably because not busy at all) but was of just a mere medium quality. We were hungry so we did not make a fuss, however we wouldn't go there second time one experience was more than enough.

The restaurant is located on the lake of Lecco, on the quietest shore of the lake, just in front of the Grigna mountain, the most relevant Rock mass in lumbardy. Stunning view. They serve traditional lake-focused plates but also seafood and meat-based menus. We liked best the traditional Risotto con pesce persico. Good service. Medium prices.
